Exploring the Home Building Process with Olathe North Students at Huntford

Last month, we had the pleasure of participating in the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City Student Tours, an enriching event for students from Olathe North Geometry in Construction classes and Olathe Advanced Technical Center Construction Science Classes.  

Students joined us at Huntford to learn about the process of building a home from the ground up, offering students a firsthand experience of the home building process. They toured homes at various stages, from foundation to our finished Parade home entry, allowing them to gain valuable insights into the world of residential construction. 

Our primary goal was to familiarize students with the details of the building process and shed light on the limitless career opportunities available in the field of residential construction. 

Highlights from the Tour

At the heart of our tour, students were encouraged to engage in deeper conversations with a few of our key team members, including our Director of Land and Development, multiple community Project Managers, Sales Director, Director of Purchasing, and our respected company President, Raynard Brown. 

They actively engaged in every step, from the foundational work to admiring our celebrated, award-winning Calistoga floor plan. 

This experience was more than just a tour -- it opened a world of potential careers.
