It’s an all-ages adventure, with plenty of photo opportunities and delicious seasonal treats to enjoy. Night of the Living Farm at Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is another great destination that offers a classic autumn experience. With activities like pirate ship racing, scary and non-scary hayrides, storytelling, flashlight scavenger hunt and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

At Cider Hill Family Orchard, apple-picking season is in full swing. Stroll through the orchard to pick your own apples, sip freshly pressed cider and enjoy a hayride. It’s the perfect autumn outing for friends and family. To savor local flavors, head over to the Overland Park Farmers’ Market every Saturday until November 23, where you can stock up on seasonal produce, freshly baked treats and fall-themed goodies while supporting local vendors.

Spooky fun

For some spooky fun this fall season, you might want to consider stopping by the Trunk or Treat Spooktacular 2024 held by the Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce. This free event offers the perfect trick-or-treat experience with decked-out car trunks filled with treats, food trucks and hot chocolate to enjoy. For a pet-friendly trick-or-treat event featuring a number of local businesses, head to Downtown Lee’s Summit for the Boos, Barks, and Badges—perfect for you and your furry friends.

Flavors of fall

Celebrate the season’s flavors with a visit to the Botanical Brewfest on October 19 from 6pm until 9pm. This event allows you to enjoy a crisp autumn afternoon sampling a variety of craft beers and ciders, all set against the lush backdrop of Overland Park’s botanical gardens. Meanwhile, the Cornucopia Fall Festival in the Power & Light District on October 18-20 brings seasonal delights to the heart of Kansas City, with an array of fall-themed food, drinks, live music and activities. Both events promise to fill your weekend with the tastes and atmosphere that make fall special.

As a realtor, we look for people who would deliver the same level of service we would ourselves for our clients. The build package was exactly what my clients were looking for, which was basically a miracle in our current market. We're excited to reach the end of our build.
